For signal providers

Sell trading signals on Telegram with a paid channel

If you already post forex, crypto, index or stock setups and people act on them, a paid Telegram channel is the simplest way to charge for that work.

Subscribers pay you directly through your own Stripe account. MyMembers manages who gets in: the bot invites people when they pay and removes them when their subscription ends.

Who this is for

  • Forex, crypto, index and stock traders who already share entries, stop losses and targets with a following.
  • Analysts who publish a daily or weekly market plan and want to keep the detailed version for paying members.
  • Trading educators who run a signal feed next to their lessons.
  • Anyone tired of checking payment screenshots and removing expired members by hand.
The model

How a paid signals channel works

Front door

A free public channel

Keep a public channel that anyone can join. Post your market view, a delayed or partial version of some trades, and an honest record of how past calls went, losers included. This is where people decide whether your thinking is worth paying for.

The product

A paid channel or group

The paid product is a private channel for the signals themselves, posted in real time. Many providers add a private group next to it for questions, so the signal feed stays clean. One page can connect both.

The promise

What members get

Be exact on your sales page: which markets, roughly how many signals a week, what each signal contains (entry, stop loss, take profit, position size guidance) and at what hours you post. People cancel when the product is not what they pictured.

Setup

Set up a paid forex or crypto signals channel

You need a Telegram channel you are an admin of and a Stripe account. There is no code to write.

  1. 1

    Connect your Stripe account

Open onboarding and connect your own Stripe account. You are the seller, payments land in your Stripe account, and the name on the card statement is yours.

  2. 2

    Create your sales page

You get a page at mymembers.io/yourname. Describe the service in plain terms and put your risk warning in the description, where buyers read it before they pay.

  3. 3

    Connect the private channel

Create a private Telegram channel for signals, add @mymembersadminbot and give it full admin rights. Repeat for a discussion group if you want one.

  4. 4

    Add your plans

Give each plan a name, an amount and a billing interval in weeks, months or years, then choose which of your connected channels it unlocks.

  5. 5

    Share the link

Pin your page link in the free channel and put it in your bio. From here, access follows payment without you touching the member list.

Pricing

Pricing patterns that fit signals

What to charge depends on your market and your record. These are the structures the product supports.

Monthly

The default for signals. Members judge you month by month, and a monthly plan lets them.

Quarterly or yearly

Bill every 3 months or every year at a lower effective price, for members who have already decided to stay.

Free trial

Add trial days to a plan so people can watch a few live signals first. By default a trial applies to new members only.

Discounted first payment

A lower first payment is an alternative to a free trial when you want some commitment from day one.

Two tiers

One plan that unlocks the signal channel, and a higher plan that also unlocks the discussion group.

What to watch out for when you sell signals

Signals are financial content. The MyMembers acceptable use policy allows them, with conditions, and the law in your members’ countries may add more.

Never promise profit
The policy forbids promising guaranteed profits and publishing invented results or reviews. Do not quote a win rate you cannot document, and show losing trades next to the winners.
Carry a risk warning
Say that trading involves risk of loss, that past results do not predict future results, and that your signals are your opinion and not personal financial advice. Put it on the sales page and pin it in your channels.
Check the rules where your members live
You are responsible for any licence, disclaimer or marketing rule in the countries you sell to. In some countries, charging for investment recommendations requires authorisation. Check before you launch, and do not sell where you are not allowed to.
Check that Stripe accepts your business
Payments run on your own Stripe account, so the Stripe restricted businesses list applies to you. Read it before you start.Stripe restricted businesses list(opens in a new tab)
Keep it adults only where it should be
If your service is meant for adults only, switch on the 18+ setting in your page settings. Visitors then see an age warning before they can view the page.
Deliver, answer and refund fairly
Questions, refunds and disputes from members are yours to handle. Refund when you did not deliver what the page described.

What it costs

MyMembers charges a 5% commission on each sale. There is no monthly fee, and the fee is invoiced monthly for the previous month. If you sell at high volume, we agree a lower rate with you. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account, where Stripe's own processing fees apply.

Smart Recovery, an optional service that tries to win back members who cancel or fail to renew, is on by default for new pages. You pay for it only when a member is recovered: 20% of the revenue it recovers, as set out in the terms. You can turn it off in your page settings.
