A Telegram membership bot for paid channels and groups

A Telegram membership bot is a bot that controls who can be in a paid Telegram channel or group: it lets people in when they pay and removes them when their subscription ends. The MyMembers bot does this for your channels and groups, while your subscribers pay you directly through your own Stripe account.

5% commission per sale. No monthly fee. Free to start.

How it works

Four steps from your channel to a paid channel.

  1. Step 1

    Connect your own Stripe account

Create a MyMembers account and connect your own Stripe account during onboarding. Your subscribers pay into that account.

  2. Step 2

Add the bot to your channel or group

Add @mymembersadminbot as an administrator with full admin rights, then post the connection code from your dashboard in the channel or group. You need to be an admin there yourself.

  3. Step 3

    Set your plans and prices

Choose whether the page is free, a single payment or a subscription, pick a currency and add your prices. A subscription can bill every 1 to 10 weeks or months, or every 1 to 3 years.

  4. Step 4

    Share your page link

Your sales page lives at mymembers.io/yourname. Send the link to your audience. People choose a plan and pay there.

Access

What the bot does for you.

The bot handles who is in your channels and groups. Access follows the subscription, so you do not add or remove people by hand.

When someone pays

After checkout, the new member gets join links for the channels and groups their plan unlocks. You do not send invites by hand.

When a subscription ends

The bot removes the member from every channel and group that plan unlocked. This applies whether the subscription was cancelled or ran out.

When a payment fails

The renewal is charged on your Stripe account, so retries follow the settings there. Access follows the subscription: if it ends, the bot removes the member. Each payment is listed in your dashboard with its status.

When a member wants to leave

Members can cancel a subscription from their own MyMembers account. You can also cancel for them, at the end of the paid period or immediately.

Money

Who gets paid, and what it costs.

You

Who gets paid

You are the seller. Subscribers pay you directly through your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank from there. The money never passes through MyMembers. MyMembers manages access.

5%

Commission per sale

There is no monthly fee and it is free to start. If you sell at high volume, a lower rate can be agreed with you individually. Stripe charges its own processing fees on your account, separately.

20%

Smart Recovery, optional

Smart Recovery tries to win back subscribers who cancel or fail to renew. It costs 20% of the revenue it recovers. It is on by default for new pages and you can turn it off in your page settings.

Comparison

How it compares.

MyMembers charges when you sell: a commission on each sale and no monthly fee, so a month without sales costs nothing. Other tools use other pricing models. The comparison pages set out each one's own published prices next to ours.
