Why was I charged by MyMembers?
Short answer
A charge that mentions MyMembers is a subscription to a creator's Telegram channel or group. Search your email inboxes for "MyMembers" or a Stripe receipt to see which creator and which email it belongs to, then sign in with that email to see it under "My Orders".
If you do not recognise the charge
- Search your email inboxes, including spam, for "MyMembers" or a Stripe receipt.
- The receipt shows which creator the subscription is with and which email it belongs to.
- Sign in with that email and cancel under "My Orders" if you no longer want it.
If you cannot identify the charge or believe it is unauthorised, message member support on Telegram with the charge date, the amount and the last 4 digits of the card.
If you were charged after cancelling
Cancelling stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
- In "My Orders", check that the subscription shows "Cancels" with a date. If it still shows "Auto-renews", the cancellation was not completed. Click "Cancel" and confirm.
- Check whether you have a second subscription under another email, for example one paid with Apple Pay. Each one must be cancelled separately.
- Remember that leaving the Telegram channel does not cancel a subscription.
If you were charged twice
Sign in and check "My Orders" to see whether you have two subscriptions. If you paid with two different emails or payment methods, for example card and Apple Pay, there may be one under each email.
Contact the creator and ask them to refund the duplicate payment and cancel the extra subscription. They can do both from their MyMembers dashboard.
Getting your money back
Refunds are decided and issued by the creator, who is the seller, not by MyMembers. Contact the creator using the email at the bottom of their MyMembers page. If the creator does not respond, message member support on Telegram with your receipt, or both receipts for a duplicate payment.
